    Apply for : müracaat etmek, baş vurmak.

    Approve of : say okay: uygun bulmak, tasvip etmek.

    Argue with : tartışmak, münakaşa etmek.

    Oğlum dokotr olmaya çok kararlı.
    Betray one’s country: vatanına ihanet etmek.
    husband: kocasına ihanet etmek.
    wife: karısına ihanet etmek.

    Blow away : alıp götürmek.
    The wind blew away the clothes that were hanging on the line.

    Born and bred : doğma büyüme.
    I’ve been here since I was born. I mean I’m Izmir born and bred.
